Saturday, Oh Saturday, De-Lights!

Oh my, I never get sick of no-class-Fridays! I'm gonna try to make this happen next semester definitely! But without have everything crammed Tuesday and Thursday from 7am - 6pm!

I got nothing to complain about today really, I mean I'm a bit bummed that the Man U game is not on tv today, but I had a great day yesterday and today is a new day! I went and got new contacts because I've been wearing just ONE for 4 days, I also ordered some cheap glasses so I could wear those sometimes, rather than my contacts ALL THE TIME.

my new contact!

I got some new nail polish, then I went with my mother to eat lunch at Bakers' SQUARE! I haven't been there in FOREVER and it was sooooo worth it!
I ate some Butternut Squash Bisque, which I had never had before, but it was DeLIGHTFUL!
I also ate a HOney Mustard Turkey Melt, with a cup of fresh fruit! The fresh fruit was BANGIN' because it had strawberries that tasted like they had been soaked in watermelon  juice. DeVINE!
I also got a piece of pie because I was overindulgent, but I didn't eat it there because I was so STUFFED.

Then I went to the mall with my mommy. There is some thing only there for 2 days where these people brought all this old sports memorabilia, and my dad is a HUGE sports fan, so we spent a great deal of time looking through cards looking for some my dad would like.  I also bought some homemade soap that smells DeLECTABLE!

I had to meet with some kid for a project at 4, so we had to leave, but when my dad got home from work, we went BACK to the mall and he looked through the cards. It was a great time! We ate Dinner there and I came home and relaxed and waited for my brother to get here!

Today I am spending all day with my brother and sister-in-law, but like always, I am up on Saturday morning freakishly early, compared to the rest of my family, but I'm watching soccer so its all good!

Nails are red, and I'm feeling Sassy!

Well, I got no homework done this evening, for which I should be stoned.

At dinner, I got a cupcake smashed into the side of my face, and none of my friends tried to help me. It was Jimmy-James, who I loooove, so I am not angry.  I will get him back, mark my words!

Now I am back at my house watching Big Bang Theory with my brother, I friggin LOVE this show!
And I re-painted my nails in a nice fire-engine RED! BOOM! I'm a little iffy about painting my nails, because I've hand a complex about them for a long time.  My hands are small, thus my nails are small, and lately I've had trouble with breakage, and I've been going to falsey route, but I have stopped that.  I have decided to embrace my natural nail (plus I have a tight budget now that I am working less), and just paint them all the time.  That way, you see less breakage, and I will feel PRETTY!

*not my nails, Obvi

Goodnight!

There's a First Time for Everything

Hello All (Any) who are (not) reading this!
I have decided to make a blog so that I can enter giveaways, but mostly so I can rant and rave without the usual eye-rolls that I am normally subjected to from my friends and family.
Reason enough? I believe so.

So lets get this show on the road:

My rant today comes from my watercolor class that I am taking at my University (its Christian and private, that should tell you enough).
Paul Cezanne's Le Mont Sainte-Victoire, as if.

My problem is not with watercolor itself, it comes from the condescending no-nothings that are in the class with me.  I appreciate anyones opinion, as long as they appreciate mine, but not in this case.
In all art classes, we have a critique after each project is finished.

-Sidenote, I HATE critiques because they seem pointless; just a lot of people telling me things to do with my art, that I will NOT do, because I did my piece the way I wanted it to be done, so what YOU "would have done," means nothing to me.

All my other art classes have been fine, and most of the time, critiques do not make me feel this pissed off, but this class does, and I'll tell you why: Everything is Negative. There is a girl in the class that is the best artist I know, and people still got something to say about her work! She is phenomenal, and yet someone STILL has to nit-pick about some stupid crap that no one will care about because the piece is PHENOMENAL. People do this because our Prof is an artist by trade, so they are trying to impress him, rather than help the other people in the class.

I was so frustrated after class was over, I called my mom and was half-crying (Don't judge me).

My Rave for today is a two-parter. Part one comes from my very own Manchester United!

They had UEFA Champions League today against Romanian team Otelul Galati (I don't know who they are either).  I can home from class, had a good rant, then turned on the boob-tube and watched this game. And let me tell you, I stopped crying almost instantly, you know why? Because Manchester United is the Greatest Football Team EVER! Anyways, the game just ended and they won 2-0, granted the second goal is probably an OG (Own Goal) against the other team, but we'll take it! Glory! Glory! Man United!

Part Two of My Rave comes from my own flesh and blood: My brother Brandon!
"...And Gomorrah, named after an even weirder move"

He got a new job today that will start him at $22/hr. Not too freakin' shabby!

So there it is. The first time is the worst. Relax and Love Football!
