Happy Birthday: Bobby Zamora (31)

 

Robert Lester Zamora is an English footballer who currently plays forward for Fulham FC and the England National Team.

 He started his playing career in the Football League and achieved success until he made it to the Premiership. He signed with West Ham United in 2004, where he played until 2008, when he joined Fulham FC.

He broke his leg in 2010 and had to get surgery done on it, and apparently it went very well

 

He has two kids, but other than the fact that they exist, I dont know anything about them

 

He is also an avid fisher

Happy Birthday: Marc Bartra (21)

Marc is a Catalonian footballer who plays center defender for Barcelona B

He started playing in Barcelona's youth system when he was 11 and moved to the B team in 2009.

Marc has made three appearances for the senior them though! On St. Valentine's Day of 2010, Marco subbed on in the 60th minute against Atletico Madrid. They went on to lose the game 1-2. Then in April 2011 he started his first game for Barcelona. He scored his first goal for the first team on 21 May 2011 against Malaga in their 3-1 win.

He has also made appearances for the U18,19, 20, & 21 Spanish National Teams, scoring 2 goals for the U21 team.

Ol' Sal is an Italian footballer who plays keeper for Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1, and he Italian National Team

He played for Venezia and Palermo in his youth career before moving on the thePalermo senior team, but didn't play much for the first team.

He moved around on loan to different teams in Italy before going back to Palermo as the second choice keeper, until September 2009 when the first keeper was crap, and Sirigu got the starting position.

In July 2011 he signed a 4-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, where he is a now a fan favorite and the number 1

(13 January 2012) Happy Birthday: Bryan Arguez (23)

who me?

Bryan is American and he plays for the MLS expansion team Montreal Impact as a midfielder.

I can only assume he is doing the stanky leg

He started his career with DC United but never made the first team. So he said "fuck it," and moved to Germany to play for Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga. He only made one appearance and went on loan in Belgium and made zero appearances before moving back to the states.

He signed for Miami FC but was RELEASED (lol) before signing with NASL team Fort Lauderdale Strikers where he made 19 APPEARANCES and 1 goal. Before he hit the big time (?) and got signed by Montreal.

Happy Birthday: Yohan Cabaye (26)

Yohan is a French International who also plays midfield for Newcastle United

Cabaye has only played for two teams in his senior career: Lille and Newcastle, which is something I can respect.

He started off at Lille playing in the youth team for 6 years, until 2004-5 season when he made his senior debut. He played for Lille up until June 2011, when he signed for Newcastle.

He has been a great asset to the team and has made two goals this season so far, one of them coming against my life-blood: Manchester United.

I have to preface this by saying I just started school again, and I am so tired I almost didn't want to type this, but I am a trooper.

Happy Birthday: Jair Benitez (32)

Jair is a Colombian footballer who plays defense for FC Dallas in MLS, and apparently has had braces in the past.

Even though he is in the states now, he has played most of his career in Colombia (to the tune of 322 games with 19 goals)

He has played for 10 teams in his career, so he is certainly no Ryan Giggs, but he has been on loan for two of those teams.

He has also played for the Colombia National Team 7 times, but no goals to show for it. But I guess he is a defender.

I am being mean to him.

Marvin Marti(a)n is a French footballer who plays Midfield for Sochaux in the French Ligue 1.

He began his youth career at Club Athletique de Paris for 2 years, then moved to Montrouge CF, then the Sochaux youth system in 2002-2008 before moving the senior team in 2008.

He also has made 10 Apps for the U21 French with 1 goal, and 9 Apps for the senior International team, with 2 goals.

He makes up for his 5'7" self by having "very good technique on the ball" and "excellent vision."

Happy Birthday: Atiba Harris (26)

Whoa whoa! Atiba is not your run of the mill footballers, he is Kittitian! Which for all you uncultured folk, means he is from Saint Kitts and Nevis (located in the West Indies)

I love him for that reason alone! But there is more to him than that.

He was the first St. Kitts player for sign for a Spanish club (Cadiz) in 2004 and with MLS (Real Salt Lake) in the 2006-7 season.  He was traded to Chivas USA, and then FC Dallas where he helped the team make it to the MLS Cup final in 2010.

He was selected by Vancouver in the Expansion Draft in November 2010, where he is still playing today.

He has made 25 appearances and 9 goals for the Saint Kitts and Nevis National Team

Fun fact: He is cousins with Micah Richards of Manchester City, whom he saw for the first time in 7 years during the pre-season tour when MANC played Vancouver.

Happy Birthday: Stefano Mauri (31)

Mauri is Italian, and he plays midfielder for Lazio, in Serie A

He is mainly left-footed, but is no stranger to the right, and his best skills are dribbling and passing

He has spent time playing for 2 different teams at senior level before finally breaking into Serie  A with Modena in 2001.  He then moved on to Brescia where he scored 7 goals. He eventually signed with Lazio in 2006 and has been playing there since.

Stefano made his International debut for Italy against Finland in 2004. 

After not getting called up for any major competitions, he was selected for the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Davide Astori is an Italian footballer who plays defender for Cagliari in Serie A

he has a nice smile

He began his playing career at Milan in 2001 and spent 5 years in the youth system he went on loan for two seasons until the 2008-9 season when he was signed by Cagliari. 

He made his senior debut for Italy on 29 March 2011 in a friendly against Ukraine, but was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

I don't really know anything else about him except that he is 6'2"
