I am sitting in my brothers bedroom, in his small apartment laying with his cat, because it is so damn loud in the living room where he and my other brother are playing Gears of War III.
My brother (Brandon) kind of pisses me off because he always has to have the TV blaring, no matter what is going on. His living room is like 12x10' and he has a gigantic TV, with surround sound, so it is hard to escape the noise.
I guess it could be worse, maybe if I got video games, I could understand the noise, but I doubt it.
I have to rant today about Brandon. He is a lazy motherfucker, and anytime we come to his house, or even when he visits us, he makes Brock, my other brother do everything for him. He eats like it is the last thing he will ever do, and hes on this kick where he thinks he's a "bad person," so basically he will make a really bro-ish, shitty comment about something, thinks it's funny and goes "Oh man... does that make me a bad person?"
It really pisses me off, because he is not a bad person, so I don't get why he thinks it's funny to be one.
He thinks Brock and I think it's funny, because we are really good at being sarcastic, but he doesnt realize that Brock and I are not bros, and don't make fucking racists joke, we actually appreciate people and how weird we can be, so our joking is completely different than what Brandon is trying to do.
He has also started drinking (at 30 years old) and thinks he is an alcohol connoisseur, and tries to tell Brock and I what to do with drinking, when we've actually been drinking for years. (Brock is 22, I just turned 21) Also, over the last year or so, he started cussing, but you can tell he forces it. I have been cussing like a sailor since I was a young teen, it sort of rolls off my tounge now, whereas Brandon seems to throw in a "Let's do this shit" or "That fucker" to try and stay relevant to Brock and I.
He is just too much of a bro for my liking anymore, "This sucks balls" is not something I want to hear from my 31 year old brother when he is trying to be serious.
Thus ends my Rant.
